Long and Short Action
Remington 700 long and short action, tactical, 20 Minute, picatinney, scope bases.
Machined from "solid, cold formed, key stock" they are tough and machined on all sides... no casting allowed here!
After machining and first deburr they are inspected for any warpage and then straightened in a hydraulic press. After passing a second inspection and secondary "hand" deburr the mounts are vibratory burred for the third time, sand blasted and parkerized. At this time they get a third inspection for "finish and to make sure all rough edges have been smoothed".
 
All bases have a wide loading port , to ease both loading and ejection and are low profile to make cheek to stock weld better improving accuracy.
